The Cairn is a cutting-edge whisky distillery located in the Cairngorms National Park. Studio MB created a new 5-star visitor experience which expresses the company’s brand values through immersive storytelling, materiality and ‘hands on’ product interaction. Taking cues from the newly created brand language, the immersive displays and interiors express a suite of shapes, patterns, finishes and motifs which are intriguingly repeated and developed along the visitor’s journey.
Responding to the brand’s ethos of forward-looking heritage, the central theme of ‘Time’ was developed as a lens to see legacy not just as heritage, but as premeditated preparations made for the future.
